Question 53 -Where is Hell?
Dear Reader, please take a moment to ask God's Holy Spirit to be your only Guide as we continue. This subject is VERY important! Thank you so much! We are going to look at Hell in this Blogsite; but NOT the Hell of Greek Mythology. We will look at the Hell described over and over in Scripture. In this Blogsite we look at Where Hell is. We have other Sites looking at When Hell is, Why Hell is, Who's in Hell, How Long, then we look at the totally Un-Answered and Un-Answerable Question, "Did Jesus Burn in Hell for You?"

Is there, at this present time, a Hell continually burning somewhere in the center of earth or, out in space, or some other unknown area? Humans have speculated since recorded history, but the Bible tells exactly, and there's no room or reason for speculation.
 
Hell is Real - VERY REAL
Anyone claiming there's no Hell simply doesn't believe the Bible is the Word of God. However, the Hell we hear described today doesn't match Scriptures.  God ceaselessly torturing people does seem to match certain Scriptures, but when we look a little closer at these Scriptures, we'll discover something quite different. A little study into the foolish Greek Mythology circulating long before Jesus came to earth sheds much light on how foolish the so-called Orthodox view of Hell really is.  Many Bible Scholars have done such a study and realized that the present popular view is repugnant and certainly not from the Bible. During the Dark Ages, after Christianity and Paganism had merged, the Church adopted the notion of God ceaselessly torturing people, and this became what is now called, "Orthodox Christianity."

Peter Explains Hell
 Peter told us EXACTLY where Hell will be located and EXACTLY when it will happen! Let's look: "The heavens and the EARTH which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the Day of Judgment (Great White Throne Judgment) and perdition (destruction) of ungodly men" (2Peter 3:7).
Is there really any way to read this and still question where Hell will be located? Peter says the "heavens," our immediate atmosphere, the oxygen surrounding our earth, will be set on fire by Jesus, and our present earth also will also become like "burning pitch," and "brimstone." Isaiah describes Hell as follows: For it is the Day (Judgment Day) of the Lord's Vengeance,...The streams thereof shall be turned into pitch and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch" (Isa.34:8-9). So, both Isaiah and Peter describe the same event, the "Day of Judgment." As any Bible student knows, immediately after the Great White Throne Judgment scene, Jesus destroys this present earth with fire, and creates a "New Heavens and a New Earth." (see Rev.20:11-15)

Heavens Pass Away with a Great Noise 
After Peter explained that the, "ungodly men," the lost wicked, will face the Great White Throne Judgment, he then went on to explain how the total destruction of Earth, and the atmosphere around Earth, the heavens, will literally, "Melt with fervent heat." "The heavens [the atmosphere surrounding earth] shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements [atmosphere] shall melt with fervent heat; the earth also, and the works that are in it, shall be burned up" (Vs.10).

When the fire is done; when sin and sinners are no more; when Satan and his evil Spirits are no more; then Hell is done. Earth will then be pure and ready for Jesus to, "Create a New Earth wherein dwelleth righteousness"(2Pet.3:13). Can we really read all of this from Scripture and still miss the truth? The BIGGER Question
Dear Reader, please take a moment to look at our other Blogsites about Hell. If God truly is going to torture people in an ever-burning Hell, then we have no choice but to preach it and teach it. But, if God has been falsely accused by Satan, no doubt we must to tell this to all who'll listen!

(Because of the seriousness of the popular doctrine of Hell, we have added the following to show just how unreasonable, false, and dangerous it is to be teaching it.

"Everyone But Christians Will Burn in HELL!!"
Time and again TV Talk Shows have had leaders from various World Religious organizations sitting together on a panel discussing Salvation. And THIS is where Evangelical Ministers almost always make Christianity look like foolish bigots! Most Evangelical Ministers have tried to put some kind of a good face on claiming that every non-Christian will spend eternity in Hell. They quote the following text as proof: "Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is no other name under Heaven given among men whereby we must be saved" (Acts 4:12)! The Scripture is EXACTLY correct!! Jesus is the ONLY way any of us will EVER obtain Salvation!! But what about the persons who had no opportunity throughout their lives to even hear the name of Jesus? What about the persons whose conscience told them that certain things were wrong, and these persons heeded their conscience? Will God cast such persons into an ever-burning Hell and keep them alive eternally?? A God of Love would not!!!  A made-up god who is the invention of misguided Ministers; a god Satan helped these misguided Ministers manufacture in their heads might do such a thing! Satan wants us to believe the true God would do this! This Author wants NOTHING to do with Satan's imaginary gods!!

It is sad to watch these otherwise intelligent Ministers doggedly hang on to their blasphemous position when the moderator asks the following:

"What About Those Who Died Never Hearing of Jesus?"
These otherwise well meaning Ministers make themselves appear pitiful when they give the following answer: "I know it is hard to understand, but such people, no matter how good they may have been in this life, will spend eternity in Hell!" The moderator then asks: "You mean to tell me that all the other men here on this panel will scream in Hell forever and ever, and only you will be saved?" Again, these poor misguided Ministers will squirm, but defiantly repeat their same sick answer. It is probable that Satan and his Demons slap each other on the backs as they laugh at otherwise good Ministers make Christianity appear to be a bunch of bigoted Buffoons!!

"I Could NEVER Serve Your God!!"
As a Christian, this Author has felt pain when Ministers who are supposed to represent Jesus Christ go on World Wide TV and drive people away from God, and Jesus Christ!!! Who can blame the Moderator and the other Religious leaders and the millions of viewers for being repulsed by such horrid nonsense!  Small wonder that millions of people are tossing Christianity aside, calling them a bunch of self-righteous bigots!!.

So, What Must I Really Do To Be Saved?
Jesus said, "Where there is no Law, there is no sin" ! He told the Scribes and Pharisees, "Had I not come and showed you these things, ye had not sinned, but now your sin remains" ! And there is the answer!! It couldn't be simpler!! This is what the miss-guided Ministers have missed!!! There are millions of people that have lived out their lives following right and wrong based on their knowledge and conscience, and even though they have never even heard of Jesus Christ, they will be in the Kingdom of God!! Jesus died for these people just as much as He did for those who had opportunity to know Him and "Call upon His Name" and have been "Born Again!!"

Had a Chance to Know Jesus?
If we have had ample opportunity to "Know Jesus" and yet turned our back on Him; rejected Him, then we will be lost. But the Moderators are right when they say, "I could NEVER serve your God!!" If God condemned people to an ever-burning Hell, even though those people NEVER had opportunity to know Him, He would not be God. Satan could be such a hateful sadist, but not the God of Love who runs this Universe!!

"A God Whom His Fathers Knew Not"
Daniel prophesied about the last days and how Antichrist would "Honor a god his fathers knew not" (Dan.11:38)! "Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers" (Vs.37)! This is exactly what is happening today!!! With the guidance of Satan, the majority of Christianity has invented a god that is NOT the God of their fathers!! If you want to see one of these miss-guided Ministers get REALLY mad, just challenge them on their view of God "Torturing People Throughout Eternity!"They'll call you everything from a Blasphemous Heretic to a Satan Worshipper!

"For a Witness Unto All Nations"
Our jobs as Christians is to live and teach so that all the nations and religions of the world will see a reflection of Jesus in us!! And what do all Nations and other Religions see when we go on World-Wide TV and make such Blasphemous claims?? Instead of seeing the, "Gospel of the Kingdom being preached in all the world, for a witness unto all nations so the end can come" (Matt.24:14), the world is seeing EXACTLY what Satan intends for them to see! Satan and his Demons are filled with glee when we display such pitiful foolishness!!

Conclusion
So what is the answer? If God has given us an opportunity to know Jesus, and we are turning it down, and if we continue turning our back on Jesus and the Holy Spirit, we are in serious danger. God is a merciful God and He will give us more than ample opportunity, but we must be wise and not continue rejecting Him. Then when we have accepted Jesus, we have the privilege of reflecting His Character so that others can see Jesus living in us!! Let's let God be the judge of what happens to those who never have the chance to know Him!! The bible is clear that all will be judged based on the light we have been given.
